15 year old commercial vehicles will be canceled to stop pollution in Ahmedabad

In an urgent meeting chaired by the Chief Secretary of the State on Friday, to tackle the ever increasing pollution in the city of Ahmedabad after the capital city of Delhi, it has been decided to make a policy regarding the cancellation of registration of commercial vehicles of 15 years in the city of Ahmedabad, besides taking an important decision to make the city of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar free from kerosene. The details of this are as follows: Keeping in mind the seriousness of the ever increasing pollution in the city of Udyan, a meeting of senior citizens including the Municipal Commissioner and Collector of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar was organized in the presence of Chief Secretary JN Singh.
