The Supreme Court agreed to re-examine the 11-year-old verdict of Crimelier

the issue of reservation in government jobs promotion – Supreme Court refused to introduce Crimleyre’s practice in the promotion of government jobs in 2006 (PTI) New Delhi, On 25th Wednesday, November 2017, SC and ST category agreed to the Supreme Court to re-examine the verdict given 11 years ago on the issue of the ‘Crimean’ for promotion of government jobs. The Supreme Court said in 2006.
The judges will bench for five judges to decide whether the judgment given in the case of the Nagaraj-based center. It is worth mentioning that in the case of Nagaraj’s case it was said that cremation can not be admitted for promoting government jobs. Earlier, in 1992 and 2005, this kind of verdict was given. The Supreme Court took this decision following the decision of the Bombay High Court. The Bombay High Court canceled the resolution of two states, which stated that Article 16 (4) of the Constitution was violated. In 2004,
the Maharashtra government gave SC, ST and Dnified Tribes the benefit of reservation in promotions. The Supreme court ruled in Nagaraj that states were not bound to reserve SC, ST in promotions. However they can do so if they wish to.
