'Digital eLearning' will be started for engineering students

Ahmedabad: For the students of Gujarat Technical University (GTU) engineering colleges to study without the classroom, digital e-learning system will be started from January, where students of GTU engineering students can sit anywhere by using smartphones, tablets and laptops anytime online. And if students do not understand in a topix Drive chatting professors will be able to ask questions. University has teamed up with M Tutor to create an online website, in which students can study by putting their own log-in ID.

Students from engineering want to think this concept of digital education ahead of classrooms, which will result in learning interaction, getting knowledge with joke and studying anywhere with a mobile phone, tablet or computer. There will be interactive video, evaluation and questionbank of students who have studied, besides live chat and confusion, arrangements will be made to guide the student. GTU has joined hands with M-Tutor, which will provide full free facility to first year students of engineering colleges during the academic year 2017-18.
University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Naveen Sheth said that we are moving ahead in the direction of new academic session to study our students in the future, in whose primary stage we are contracting with M-Tutor. In the website, arrangements have been made that the students can learn online by typing their own UID password. Which will come into effect from January, after which we will also create a smartphone app with our website. Students will benefit greatly because of the system.
