Biometric attendance of Rail employees mandatory from December

For the thousands of employees of the Vadodara division of the Western Railway, it will be compulsory to work on time from December because base-based biometric attendance (attendance) will be mandatory from December to Vadodara Division. Preparations for setting up of biometric attendance system after the order of rail ministry have been started by Vadodara Division.
Speaking about this, Khamraj Meena, PRO of Vadodara division, said that all the divisions have been ordered by the Union Ministry of Railways to have a biometric attendant. The basic purpose of applying this system is to know whether the employees come to work timely or not. In the first phase ie November 30, the division office will be implemented in places like Zone, office, workshop, factory and in the second phase ie December 31, will be applicable to other accounts.
It is noteworthy that this biometric attendance system will be based on a base card and it is ordered to connect CCTV cameras with each biometric machine. There are more than 14,000 employees working in Vadodara division, among which Latef staffs are likely to get a glimpse of this system being implemented.
